FACILITIES
CLASSROOMS
Students learn in ergonomically designed classrooms equipped with SMART Boards. The Higher Secondary School block has 12 Smart Classrooms where 11 Smart LED panels and Smart Document Cameras are also installed. Wi-Fi access points are available to provide wireless coverage to all the classrooms.
LIBRARY
The collection includes books, newspapers, magazines, Kindles, desktop computers, reference materials, CDs and DVDs. SVM's well-stocked library houses over 50,000 volumes of books, comprising references, prescribed texts and popular fiction. The school subscribes to over 14 newspapers and 125 national and international magazines. The library is equipped with a computerized database, enabling students to have quick and easy access to necessary books. The school also has memberships in two international libraries to meet the additional needs of students.
LABORATORIES
The state-of-the-art laboratories at the school meet all the international standards of safety, and standards of the national and the international curriculum. There are separate spacious labs for Physics, Maths, Computer, Social Science, Chemistry and Biology, which are used to infuse a spirit of learning and inquiry in young minds.The experiments conducted in our labs help students better understand complex concepts, while also allowing them to be inquirers and enabling them to explore a world beyond books.
VISUAL & ART STUDIO
We strongly believe that Visual Arts form an integral part of the holistic development of a child. The Visual Art Studio is a dedicated space for students to express themselves through traditional mediums like Drawing, Painting, Clay Modeling, Printmaking and Photography, and also experiment with new-age mediums like Digital art, Conceptual and Installation Art, etc.
HOSTEL
It is our earnest endeavour to make our students’ stay in the boarding house ‘a home away from home’, where they are provided not only with a warm and homely ambience, but also with opportunities to enhance creativity and learning. The school maintains a happy and healthy environment in the boarding houses by creating a balance between academic discipline and relaxation.
TRANSPORT
Bus facilities assure smooth commuting of students. The safety of students stands as our utmost priority. Our school buses are under complete CCTV surveillance. We give parents access to track the bus, and also, we at school monitor students inside the bus. We have school bus facilities to various locations in and around the city, making movement easy for students.
Our bus drivers are certified with licenses and have years of experience behind the wheels of the school bus. Besides, we provide a caretaker to keep an eye on students inside the bus. The transportation fee is payable on a term basis.
FOOD & SAMPLE MENU
Every child needs to eat healthily while they are growing up. We provide a variety of delicious, nutrient-dense meals that are cooked with farm-fresh ingredients. The school has separate kitchens and dining areas that support a balanced diet for the best possible physical and intellectual development.
SPORTS AND GROUND
Sports and games are an integral and compulsory part of the education process. Sports help to build character and teach the importance of discipline in life. It inculcates respect for rules and allows the participants to learn the value of self-control.
